Karakal, a well-established GAA brand in the Irish market, had traditionally relied on retail partners to distribute its products nationwide. In 2016, the brand launched its direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales channel. However, with no digital strategy, an outdated website, and limited marketing efforts, sales eventually plateaued. The challenge was to revitalize the brand by connecting with both existing and new audiences, encouraging them to shop directly online.

The Solution
We redeveloped the existing Shopify store and improved on site UX. Alongside developing the website we Carried out extensive keyword analysis and target market research. We developed and implemented an organic SEO strategy as well as paid campaigns across google search and display network & Instagram and Facebook. Over the weeks that followed we grow and organic mailing list of 2,000+ customers which was used for marketing communications and campaign retargeting efforts. As a result of this Karakal generated a 267% increase in sales.
